Church St. Nikolaus

Why go so far when something great is so close? The Church St. Nikolaus in Damüls is one of the highlights of Vorarlberg's art history with its late medieval murals, figural furnishings and solitary location on the church hill. The church was built in the 15th century. The furnishings were baroqueized in 1630 with altars whose figures are attributed to Erasmus Kern. The picture decoration on the walls is particularly rich.
