Kilbi in Damuels
In the best weather and pleasant summer temperatures, the Damuelser Kilbi took place this year on 15th August.
The event was traditionally heralded the day before in the "Russa Bar" and the Damuelser "Vine Arbour". As in previous years, handicrafts, noble fires as well as regional products had to be tried and bought at many market stalls as well. The Damuelser FIS Ski Museum had of course been open and offered interested guests and visitors exciting insights into the world of the ski run. For the physical well-being was well taken care of, at the central square between the two hotels Boutique Hotel Mittagspitze and hotel Gasthof Adler there was specially prepared for the Kilbi grilled specialties. Here the numerous audience attending the day of the brass band was entertained by the MV Alpenklaenge Damuels and the Auer Brass Banda and led by Walter Kempf through the program. Also for the little ones, many things were offered with a tram, a children's makeup, a goat enclosure for stroking as well as balloon crafts. A small children's flea market for children for the good cause enjoyed a lively popularity and collected the pleasing sum of €178.00, which can be transferred to the Pediatric cancer aid Vorarlberg Tirol.
Of course, the obligatory tombola with high-quality prices such as hiking rucksacks or a season ticket was not to be missed as the main price for the cable cars Damuels Mellau. This year's Kilbi came to an end in the Damuelser "Vine Arbour" with live music.
