Franz-Michael Felder Museum, Schoppernau
Franz-Michael Felder was a farmer, writer, social reformist, one of Bregenzerwald's most popular historical personalities and probably Vorarlberg's most important poet in the 19th century. The fabulous exhibition displays facts and figures about his life, including original documents, audio stations, quotations and pictures.
The museum is accessible for free in the upper floor of the Culture and Business House in the village center of Schoppernau. Visitors get an insight into the life of Franz-Michael Felder (1839 - 1869) in a modern setting: farmer, writer, instructor and social reformer! The main elements of the exhibition center on words, lights and sounds. A highlight not to be missed.
Take a closer look at the works of Franz-Michael Felder! Literature fans can indulge in the huge library offering a couple of silent reading corners. You can either buy the books or borrow books from the library.
